Severe malaria infection
Serious malarial symptoms will be experienced if the disease degenerates because it is left unattended. These include:
– yellowing of the eyes
– convulsions
– shock even coma
– Liver failure and kidney failure
– an altered mental state and the onset of cerebral malaria
