Palma Nova was one of the originally purpose built tourist resorts in the island of Majorca. Majorca is the largest of the Balearic islands, belonging to Spain. Palma Nova provides plenty of attractions and activities for tourists. It is particularly popular for the younger crowd, since it is famous for its vibrant nightlife. However, it is also family-friendly place and it is even popular amongst the retired, especially those who have been going there for the last 40 years.
There are plenty of activities in Palma Nova and you certainly can’t get bored there. Some examples of the activities on offer a water sports such as windsurfing, pedal boats, snorkelling and scuba diving amongst a number of other things. About three kilometres away from Palma Nova, are two water parks which are in the neighbouring resort of Magaluf. Remember, however, that the resort is quite seasonal an almost everything closes down for the winter.
